Creating Success

slideshow_leafWhat really holds people back from lasting success and achievement? Is it really only a lack of education, skills and resources? Or is there more to the story?

As helping professionals working in non-profits or public agencies, we typically focus on helping people by removing what we perceive as “barriers” to their success. We address the tangible things that we feel are the true road blocks to self-sufficiency – – things like education, training, housing, child care, training and other important needs. This is a good place to start….

But what if there is more to the story?

What if our current programs and efforts only build the bridge “half way” to success? While these tactical efforts are important, they don’t reach our clients and customers where they may actually be “stuck.” They don’t uncover the hidden places where success and failure start – – in the beliefs, attitudes and thinking patterns of the people who need our help the most.

Is there a “Missing Link”?

There is a missing link!  It’s what our clients and customers actually believe about themselves, what they are capable of and what they are actually worthy of that makes sustainable success so hard to achieve. We see this every day when in spite of all of our efforts:

Our welfare-to-work job seekers can get a job but can’t keep a job
• Our micro-enterprise and small business owners get businesses started that ultimately fail
• Our financial literacy clients finally save money then suddenly lose it all
• Our vocational training students sail through training but can’t successfully launch
• Our re-entry clients get on track successfully then inexplicably end up back in prison

Moving from failure to success requires an internal change. The best way to ignite and support this level of change is through effective, evidence based coaching techniques and skills! Monday Best specializes in training the professionals who work with these populations every day. We can help you develop the coaching skills to drive insight and lasting change in the people that you are committed to support.
